Adbuster: Axe

Axe is a brand of male grooming products whose lead product is a fragranced aerosol deodorant body spray. Their advertisements portray various ways the products supposedly help young men attract women. Although this is a common undertone of many colognes marketing campaigns, Axe has exaggerated the role played by its product to absurd levels.

My parody add implies that this new Axe spray is so effective that it creates for the user an attractive young female from thin air. Unfortunately, since Axe body spray adds already feature women driven to sexual frenzy by, or physically draw to, users of the product, this parody is not very far from the current advertising campaign.
