Beloved childhood series may be sending kids mixed messages about identity and roles
It's interesting that, since taking a course about the mass-media and it's impact and implications on education, I have seen little in the way of media news attention regarding this branch of study. I found this article extremely relevant, in that it directly questions the impact of a long-standing series of supposed "good" childhood programming. Time to start critically thinking about everything your kids are watching, reading, and seeing.
